The commissioners often serve on, or make appointments to, boards, and are responsible for the budget, road department, and many other county concerns. Your commissioners meet twice a month, the first and third Wednesday. The public is encouraged to attend the meetings. Attendees wishing to speak must contact the auditor to be placed on the agenda prior to the meeting. North Dakota Century Code Chapter 11-11.
